Meaningful Learning Didactic Strategies in Higher Education

This work aims to analyze and explain the didactic strategies used to achieve meaningful learning. It begins under the assumption that if meaningful learning is created and students are given freedom and confidence, they can find their own answers and develop their knowledge both in the classroom and in practical life. The method used is the analytical-descriptive one of the reviews of the literature of the main authors who have given rise to this approach, its elements, and the didactic strategies used. It is concluded that the design and implementation of didactic strategies focused on meaningful learning with the application of active didactic methodologies and strategies in meaningful learning processes depending on the context in which it takes place obtains better results in the training of professionals.

At present, one of the urgent problems is the systematization of information on elective courses and the identification of methodological features of its implementation. The article presents the program of the elective course " Cultural geography" for classes of the natural-mathematical direction. In addition, the methodological structure of the course " Cultural geography " has been worked out. The article provides an analytical review of the latest sources on the cultural geagraphy in Russian and English. Human beings understand and interpret what is happening around them in their mother tongue. It is a fact that in recent years, language teaching has been given importance as a communication tool. Each language carries out the processes of understanding and explaining, consisting of its own specific structures and rules. In terms of the basic language skills involved in these two processes, the behaviours and methods of language learners and teachers who will ensure that they can use their mother tongue correctly are very important. The historical development of multilingualism in Kazakhstan consists of several stages. Multilingualism has brought with it problems in Kazakh teaching in Kazakhstan. For this purpose, it is important to determine the opinions of classroom teachers about teaching the Kazakh language in terms of word structure, the suitability of the contents of the textbooks, and the qualifications of teachers in language teaching. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with 19 classroom teachers working in Kazakhstan. In this study, the findings obtained using the qualitative research method were analysed in detail. It has been concluded that there are points where the contents of the textbooks are not suitable for the classroom teachers, the methods and techniques they use in language teaching are insufficient and these inadequacies cause problems. The aim of this study is to determine the technology of teaching regional economic relationships based on the updated educational content to university students and to determine it. The research was conducted in the fall semester of 2021–2022; the study with the participation of 274 university students was conducted in a screening model. In the study, 4 weeks of updated education was provided to university students. In order to collect data, the ‘Updated Education and Teaching Technologies’ measurement tool, developed by the researchers, was used in the study. The scale used in the research was delivered and collected by the online method to university students. The analysis of the data was carried out using the SPSS programme; frequency analysis was carried out using the t-test, and the results obtained were added to the study accompanied by tables. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the teaching technologies of university students were learned and their updated educational status was good and the values were high. Development of Innovative Activities of Future Design Specialists Based on Student-Centred Learning

The study explored the association between student-centred teachings and innovative skill development in art design students.Furthermore, the role of students' engagement and students' performance was assessed using a student-centred approach and students' innovative skills.Furthermore, the importance of the student-centred approach among art and design students in the sixth, seventh, and eighth semesters was assessed.In total, 365 students were included in the study: 115 from the sixth semester, 120 from the seventh semester, and 130 from the eighth semester from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Institute of Arts, Culture, and Sports.The data collection was performed at three different periods using a time-lag approach.Furthermore, it was found that students' creative skills are positively associated with student-centred teaching methodologies.Whereas students' level of engagement is directly linked with the student-centred approach, and students' engagement is directly associated with students' innovative skills.Similarly, students' performance is positively associated with the student-centred approach and innovative skills.The study highlighted the importance of student-centred teaching methodologies in developing students' performance and engagement.Lastly, students' innovative skills in art and design can be developed using a research model by focusing on the teaching methodologies, students' engagement, and the need for innovative skills for future design specialists.
