    The study examined a model for integrating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education to prepare future informatics teachers capable of applying theoretical knowledge to solving real-world problems across various scientific fields. Integrated STEM education represents an interdisciplinary approach that combines multiple disciplines into a cohesive system. There is a growing conviction that STEM disciplines cannot and should not be taught in isolation. STEM education emphasizes the importance of an interdisciplinary approach, eliminating the teaching of isolated subjects. At the same time, there is a lack of specific recommendations on the structure and content of informatics teacher preparation in the context of STEM education, highlighting the need for targeted training to develop relevant competencies. This article presents a model for integrating STEM education into professional subjects for training future informatics teachers. The model is based on a synthesis of research literature on integrated learning and STEM education. It includes four key components for informatics teacher training: (1) Target block – defines specific objectives and expected outcomes of the training program. (2) Process block – focuses on methods and approaches used in the teaching and training of future informatics teachers. (3) involves the analysis and generalization of educational content. (4) Outcome block – focuses on practical application and the development of necessary competencies. The proposed model can serve as a foundation for the professional development of future informatics teachers and the creation of targeted educational programs that meet the requirements of STEM education.

    Данная статья представляет мета-анализ эффективности обучения STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) с уклоном для будущих учителей информатики. С использованием современного метода мета-анализа была проведена комплексная оценка разнообразных исследований, посвященных эффективности обучения в данной области. В ходе анализа были рассмотрены методы, подходы и стратегии, используемые при обучении STEM и информатике. В статье исследуется применение метода предпочтительных элементов отчетности для систематических обзоров PRISMA 2020 (The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses). Благодаря этому было отобрано и проанализировано 11 статей из общего числа 859. Критерии приемлемости определялись с учетом журналов, опубликованных с 2019 по 2023 года, исключительно на основе эмпирических источников. Мета-анализ литературы, проведенный на основе ключевых слов и названий статей, помогли обобщить и систематизировать полученные данные. В статье также подчеркивается важность разнообразных методов обучения при обучении STEM-предметам, что способствует улучшению процесса обучения и привлечению интереса обучающего. Наша цель состояла в том, чтобы провести методологический обзор литературы, чтобы определить какие эффективные методы обучения STEM могут быть использованы преподавателями для подготовки будущих учителей информатики. Авторы выявили общие тенденции, успехи и вызовы в процессе обучения, освещая ключевые аспекты, включая подходы к разнообразию методов, влияние на мотивацию студентов и уровень понимания концепций. Полученные выводы позволяют выделить наилучшие практики и подходы, которые будущие преподаватели информатики могут интегрировать в свои образовательные программы. Эта работа предоставляет ценные рекомендации для оптимизации процесса обучения STEM и информатике среди будущих преподавателей.

    EVALUATING THE PREPAREDNESS OF FUTURE BIOLOGY SPECIALISTS TO INTEGRATE STEM APPROACHES INTO THEIR EDUCATION AND TRAINING
    (Ablai Khan University, 2025-06-01) ;
    The aim of this article is to examine the level of awareness among students in higher educational institutions regarding the STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics)- innovative teaching method, as well as to explore the range of activities related to STEM being conducted within universities. In today’s world, there exists a wide range of modern teaching methods, among which the STEM method stands out. Based on foreign experiences, it is recognized as an integrative approach across scientific disciplines, aimed at providing students with a profound understanding of Natural Science concepts. Robotics, one of the narratives of the STEM, has seen widespread adoption in schools, but has only recently begun to be incorporated into higher education institutions. Currently, the Y. Altynsarin National Academy of Education has introduced methodological guidelines for the implementation of the STEM approach, and efforts to establish STEM-focused classrooms and numerous laboratories within schools and universities are being coordinated by the ministry. On this foundation, an array of specialized facilities, including 3D modeling studios, robotics workshops, center, and laboratories, have been established in both schools and tertiary institutions, integrating into the educational framework. Furthermore, under the auspices of Chevron, the educational entity “Caravan of Knowledge” has embarked on the development of the methodological guides within the ambit of the “STEM Education Development Roadmap for 2021-2025”. This initiative has led to the organization of STEAM-focused video lessons, thematic STEM fortnights and scholarly conferences. The undertaken research has been pivotal in assessing the preparedness levels for implementing education via STEM methodology, while also evaluating its significance.
