Тип записи:Публикация, Development of optimal modes of mechanochemical treatment of technogenic raw materials with various modifiers to produce heat-insulating materials(International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, 2025-10-27) ;Б. С. Садыков ;Ainur Khairullina ;Aida Artykbayeva ;Alua MatenAbstract This paper presents the results of studies on the effect of mechanochemical treatment (MCT) and modification of technogenic waste based on ash and fly ash. Mechanical modification was carried out using a laboratory ball mill with the addition of organic modifiers to the system. After MCT, the physicochemical properties of the obtained modified ash and fly ash particles were studied. Heat insulators based on ash and slag after MCT have a noticeable positive effect on its rheological properties, improving its structure and heat resistance. Self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) samples with fly ash after MCT showed a significant decrease in thermal conductivity, which leads to improved heat-insulating properties. The obtained samples based on technogenic waste are effective heat-resistant and environmentally friendly materials that are superior to many traditional analogues.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 1 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Phosphonamidates Integrating Sterically Hindered Phenols with Membrane-Active Cations: A Redox-Activated Approach to Antimicrobial Agents(Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute, 2026-05-18) ;Elmira Gibadullina ;Adel Shakirov ;Margarita Neganova ;Yulia AleksandrovaAlexandra VoloshinaA strategy to create highly effective antimicrobial agents was proposed based on the conjugation of three functional components: a cationic quaternary ammonium salt (QAS) that exerts a membrane-disrupting effect and promotes selective accumulation on bacterial surfaces; a phosphonamidate linker for controlled activation; and a sterically hindered phenol (SHP) fragment as a potential redox component. This approach enabled the preparation of 40 target phosphonamidate–SHP/QAS hybrids in high yields (88–98%). Evaluation of their antimicrobial activity against major pathogens and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) revealed high potency against Gram-positive bacteria. The lead compounds achieved minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values of 0.7–2.8 μM, which is up to 10 times lower than that of the reference drug, norfloxacin. Mechanistic studies confirmed that these hybrids disrupt the bacterial membrane. In addition, an increase in intracellular ROS levels was observed for the most active compound. The SHP/QAS hybrids retained high activity against S. aureus ATCC 209P after 17 passages and showed low cytotoxicity (SI = 62–92) and negligible hemolysis. These properties indicate that this approach may offer a useful strategy for developing antibacterial agents with a potentially lower risk of inducing conventional resistance mechanisms. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Phytochemical Profiling and Toxicological Evaluation of Atraphaxis virgata and Atraphaxis pyrifolia Extracts Using GC–MS and LC–MS(Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute, 2026-05-23) ;Meruyert D. Dauletova ;Almagul K. Umbetova ;Aisulu Zh. Kabdraisova ;Ryzvangul S. YmynovaG. Sh. BurashevaAtraphaxis virgata and Atraphaxis pyrifolia are xerophytic species of the Polygonaceae family that remain insufficiently characterized from pharmacognostic, phytochemical, and toxicological perspectives. This study provides an integrated evaluation of both species through anatomical authentication, sequential extraction of CO2-extracted residual biomass, GC–MS and LC–MS metabolite profiling, and acute oral toxicity assessment. Anatomical analysis revealed shared xeromorphic traits, including cuticular protection, dorsiventral mesophyll organization, structured vascular bundles, and calcium oxalate druses. It also identified species-specific differences in leaf thickness, mesophyll arrangement, vascular architecture, and druse morphology. GC–MS analysis showed distinct chemical profiles: A. virgata displayed a concentrated profile dominated by acetophenone- and benzofuran-related constituents, whereas A. pyrifolia showed a broader spectrum of carbohydrate-derived, phenolic-related, and oxygenated constituents. LC–MS analysis supported the tentative annotation of diverse polyphenolic classes, including flavonoids, phenolic acids, coumarins, and phenylpropanoid derivatives. Acute oral toxicity testing showed no mortality at doses up to 2000 mg/kg, supporting a low acute oral toxicity classification under the tested conditions. However, histological examination revealed mild to moderate dose-dependent alterations in liver and kidney tissues at higher doses. The novelty of this work lies in linking diagnostic anatomical traits, species-specific metabolite patterns, residual biomass valorization, and preliminary safety evidence within a single comparative framework. These findings provide a basis for pharmacognostic authentication, phytochemical standardization, and future bioactivity-guided evaluation of Atraphaxis species. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF TOURISM ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC AND GEOPOLITICAL RELATIONS OF THE COUNTRIES OF CENTRAL ASIA(Editura Universitatii din Oradea, 2026-06-30) ;Kaster Sarkytkan ;Yerlan Issakov ;Aktlek AKHMETOVA; Г. Е. БердыгуловаThe paper focuses on how tourism contributes to the formation of economic development and geopolitical relationships between the states of Central Asia, specifically, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. Despite the historical, cultural and geographical connections that are strong in this region, particularly through the story of the Silk Road, tourism remains an unbalanced part of the regional agenda of development and integration. The research aims at observing how various actors view the economic and geopolitical potential tourism holds and to what level tourism helps in regional cooperation and state positioning. The study relies on the qualitative and comparative research methodology. Data was collected by use of 120 semi-structured interviews with the representatives of the common sector, academia and the tourism industry in major urban and cross-border destination. The analysis of data was conducted in NVivo 14 software with the application of the thematic and comparative and matrix codes. According to the findings, tourism, in the majority of case s, is viewed as a tool of local economic growth and enhancing the resiliency of local communities, and its geopolitical and integrative capabilities are under-explored. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are unique because they have a more advanced institutional support level, infrastructural preparedness, and strategic orientation as it allows tourism to be a source of s oft power and regional presence. Conversely, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are administratively weak and their institutions have a low capacity of collaboration across borders. The paper will add to the literature on tourism and regional development by highlighting the importance of regional structures and mechanisms of joint governance to ensure the validation of tourism as an aspect of long-term stability and collaboration in Central Asia, particularly in contexts where shared narratives such as the Silk Road remain insufficiently translated into concrete policy. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Temperature and Moisture in Pavements and Soil Bases in the Southern Metropolises of Kazakhstan(Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute, 2026-08-28) ;Bagdat Burkhanbaiuly Teltayev ;Giuseppe Loprencipe ;Umir S. Kalybayev; Yerbol AitbayevIn this paper an experimental study and comparative analysis of temperature and moisture in pavements and their soil bases on experimental road sections located in two southern metropolises of Kazakhstan—in the cities of Almaty and Shymkent—were conducted. The temperature and moisture values were measured by systems for long-term continuous monitoring of temperature and moisture in structural elements of roads. Sensors were installed at ten locations within the pavements and soil bases at depths ranging from 2.5 cm to 270–275 cm below the pavement surfaces. The temperature and moisture monitoring period extends from 21 October 2024 to 31 December 2025. Temperature and moisture readings were recorded hourly. It has been established that the temperature conditions of pavements and their soil bases in the two cities are qualitatively the same, and the quantitative differences are small: air temperatures and soil temperatures at depths of 2.5 cm and 10 cm in Shymkent are higher than in Almaty by an average of 4.75 °C, 5.69 °C and 2.12 °C, respectively. These facts make it possible to use a single methodological approach to account for temperature changes in the design of new roads and in the operation of existing roads. It is recommended to pay attention to ensuring the resistance to rutting and fatigue cracking of asphalt concrete layers of pavement. The moisture regime at the experimental section in Almaty up to 130–140 cm depth is unstable due to seepage of precipitation and surface water through the stone mastic and the two coarse-grained porous asphalt concrete layers of the pavement; in Shymkent the pavement and the soil base have a stable moisture regime throughout the year; these features should be taken into account when calculating accumulations of plastic strains (increasing of rut depth) and fatigue damage in asphalt concrete layers of pavements while also accounting for temperature changes in them and transport facility loads in different time periods. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, A systematic review of the effectiveness of teaching geoecological issues to geography students using digital technologies(Frontiers Media, 2026-09-09); ;Sagyngali Kalkashev; ;Nurbol UssenovAssan ZHELDIBAYEVThe introduction of innovative pedagogical approaches to teaching geoenvironmental issues is considered one of the key directions of contemporary educational practice. Although digital technologies and active learning strategies are widely used, their effectiveness in the context of teaching geography students has not been systematically studied. This systematic review was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA 2020 guidelines: 64 relevant articles were selected, and from these, the most fully documented studies were taken for in-depth analysis. The novelty of the study lies in its comprehensive consideration of pedagogical approaches to digital technologies in geoenvironmental education, linking them to the requirements for the training of geography students. The results show that geospatial tools and immersive technologies are widely used, but that the outcomes are often limited to short-term affective indicators, indicates a lack of rigorous designs that isolate the technology's independent contribution, and that teacher preparation and institutional support remain a persistent barrier. The study proposes a conceptual model that integrates digital technologies, experiential learning, and interdisciplinary integration, and includes concrete recommendations for teachers and policymakers.
