Тип записи:Публикация, Modeling and Designing Subsystem of Fiber-Optic Sensors for Diagnostics and Control of Mechanical Structures Health in Differential System(2023-09-13) ;Aliya Kalizhanova; ;Айнур Козбакова; The article examines the modeling and design of a subsystem of fiber-optic sensors for the diagnosis and monitoring of the operability of mechanical structures in a differential system. In this study, the definition of the problem was developed by a mathematical model of the FBG using the transfer matrix method and using this method, a simulation model for the sensor was solved. The transfer matrix method makes it possible to assign spectral characteristics of optical components based on the theory of coupled modes and the matrix description of an electromagnetic wave passing through an optical fiber. The simulation is performed by solving the equations of coupled modes in MatLab (Simulink) using the transfer matrix method, which provides the basis for the relationship between the controlled modes. The method can take into account refractive index profiles of arbitrary shape and be implemented in a tool called MatLab (Simulink). As a result of the study, optimization was carried out, where light is shed on the effectiveness of the proposed scheme for analyzing deformation measurements, obtaining a linear response. It's inventory-friendly, fast, and open-source. The main contribution of the study is the developed simulation model of the subsystem for fiber Bragg sensors, which shows that the power of the side lobes is completely minimized in the Gaussian reflection spectra of FBG, and the results of MatLab (Simulink) are in excellent agreement with the results of the optical lattice. MatLab (Simulink) has a wide range of applications in modeling various optical fibers for various fields such as visualization, communication, material processing and remote sensing. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, Development of an Optoelectronic System for Recording and Processing Signals From Fiber-optic Sensors(2023-10-24) ;Aliya Kalizhanova ;Айнур Козбакова; Natural disasters, in particular earthquakes, can damage bridges, tunnels, dams, high-rise buildings, railways, oil platforms, buildings, and pipelines with catastrophic humanitarian, social, economic, and environmental consequences. Thus, automatic assessment of damage to industrial and civil construction structures after an earthquake in real-time or on request is necessary for early emergency response, effective preparation of rescue plans, and mitigation of these catastrophic consequences. The article presents the use of a system of distributed fiber-optic sensors based on Bragg fiber arrays, which will allow periodic measurements and monitoring of the condition of structures, assessing trends in its technical condition and thereby facilitating the identification of possible threats. The given research presents assembling and testing optoelectronic systems to record and process signals from fiber-optic sensors. The main optoelectronic systems to record and process the signals from fiber-optic sensors are light source controllers and optical power detectors. There was an assembled controller diagram, which apart from the light source includes the current source for its adequate operation, as well as the systems necessary for stabilizing its working point. The scheme was modeled for specifying nominal and maximum operation criteria. Construction has been designed in a way, that the light source controller includes structures of the current regulation and stabilization SLED (super luminescent diode) and temperature stabilization. Apart from that, there was assembled the microsystem of the optical power detector additionally to the light detector, which includes the microsystems of intensification and filtration of the signal measured, processing analog data into digital form, and microcontroller, used for preliminary data analysis. Data of optoelectronic systems diagram to record and process the signals from fiber-optic sensors has high response speed, low noise level, and sufficient progress. type your abstract here. - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Optical Sensor System for 3D Jones Matrix Reconstruction of Optical Anisotropy Maps of Self-Assembled Polycrystalline Soft Matter Films(Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute, 2024-02-29) ;Waldemar Wójcik ;Zhengbing Hu ;Yuriy Ushenko ;Andrzej SmolarzІрина Василівна СолтисOur work uses a polarization matrix formalism to analyze and algorithmically represent optical anisotropy by open dehydration of blood plasma films. Analytical relations for Jones matrix reconstruction of optical birefringence maps of protein crystal networks of dehydrated biofluid films are found. A technique for 3D step-by-step measurement of the distributions of the elements of the Jones matrix or Jones matrix images (JMI) of the optically birefringent structure of blood plasma films (BPF) has been created. Correlation between JMI maps and corresponding birefringence images of dehydrated BPF and saliva films (SF) obtained from donors and prostate cancer patients was determined. Within the framework of statistical analysis of layer-by-layer optical birefringence maps, the parameters most sensitive to pathological changes in the structure of dehydrated films were found to be the central statistical moments of the 1st to 4th orders. We physically substantiated and experimentally determined the sensitivity of the method of 3D polarization scanning technique of BPF and SF preparations in the diagnosis of endometriosis of uterine tissue.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 26 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия

Тип записи:Публикация, Sensor Systems for Measuring Force and Temperature with Fiber-Optic Bragg Gratings Embedded in Composite Materials(Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute, 2024-08-14) ;Aliya Kalizhanova ;Айнур Козбакова; ; Анар УтегеноваCurrently, there is a high interest in smart sensors and integrated composite materials in various industries such as construction, aviation, automobile, medical, information technology, communication, and manufacturing. Here, a new conceptual design for a force and temperature sensor system is developed by integrating fiber optic Bragg grating sensors embedded within composite materials, and a mathematical model is proposed that allows one to estimate strain and temperature based on signals obtained from optical Bragg gratings. This is important for understanding the behaviors of sensors under different conditions and for creating effective monitoring systems. Describing the strain gradient distribution, especially considering different materials with different values of Young's modulus, provides insight into how different materials respond to applied forces and temperature changes. The shape of the strain gradient distribution was obtained, which is a quadratic function with a maximum value of 1500 µ, with a maximum value at the center of the lattice and a symmetrically decreasing strain value with distance from the central part of the fiber Bragg grating. With axial strain at the installation site of the Bragg grating sensor under applied force values ranging from 10 to 11 N, the change in strain was linear. As a result of theoretical research, it was found that the developed system with fiber-optic sensors based on Bragg gratings embedded in composite materials is resistant to external influences and temperature changes.Цитирования (OpenAlex) 7Цитирования (OpenCitations) 3 - Некоторые метрики заблокированы вашиминастройками согласия
Тип записи:Публикация, Research on the Relative Displacement Distribution of a Composite Plate with Built-In FBG Sensors(Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute, 2025-04-22) ;Aliya Kalizhanova ;Айнур Козбакова; ; Гулжан КашагановаThe paper studies the distribution of relative displacement of a composite plate with integrated fiber Bragg gratings. The analysis of the methods for manufacturing composite plates with embedded optical fibers containing FBG sensors, as well as the spectral characteristics of the gratings under various bending conditions, are performed. The effect of sensor arrangement on the accuracy of determining stresses and relative elongations of the material is experimentally studied. The features of spectral shifts that occur under non-uniform stresses are revealed, which can reduce the accuracy of measurements when using interrogators. The patterns of change in the central wavelength of Bragg gratings depending on the type and magnitude of plate bending are established. The research results confirm that the use of a network of embedded FBG sensors allows one to accurately determine the areas of maximum deformations, as well as the nature and magnitude of bending of composite structures. The data obtained can be used to develop more accurate systems for monitoring the stress–strain state of composite materials.
